Gutters and Gutter Guards
Gutter systems are very important to your entire house. Improperly installed or damaged/clogged gutters can damage shingles, facia, soffits, siding, brick, concrete, landscaping, and even cause foundation cracks and basement/crawl space flooding! The idea is to move that water away from the house!
Schultz Roofing Corp can install 5" or 6" seamless gutters and downspouts to your home to properly whisk water away from those problem areas. Installed with hidden fasteners, they not only look beautiful, but function properly to enhance your homes appearance as well as protect it.
No more going up on a ladder to clean gutters when Schultz Roofing installs Shur Flo Leaf Relief gutter guards on your new or existing gutter system to keep leaves, branches, acorns, helicopter seeds, or pine needles out of your gutter system.
Insulation and Ventilation
A healthy attic system has proper airflow in from soffits or edge vent systems, and proper airflow out from ridge vent, can vents, gable vents, or power vents (solar or hard wired).
Ventilation problems plus inadequate insulation in an attic can give you a major problem keeping your house warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We use Owen's Corning Blown-in insulation which will bring you up to R-38, which is Michigan code for attics. Schultz Roofing can help you make your home more comfortable, lower your heating and cooling costs, and make sure your attic space is venting properly.
